The SECOND INSTALLATION MEETING of Lodge Reginald Spence No.5514 EC for the year 1936-37 was held on November 17,1936 at the Freemasons Hall, Ravelline Street, Bombay 1. The officers for the year were:

W. Bro. Jethmul Thakursingh Lalvani was born on August 28,1889 and was the managing director of J.B.Advani & Co., Bombay. He resided at Shyam Bhuvan, Chowpatty. Initiated on June 21,1935 he was passed to the degree of fellowcraft freemason on August 16,1935 and raised on December 20,1935. The first office he held was that of J.D. and followed this up with S.D; Chaplin; J.W. and S.W. He was installed in the Eastern Chair on November 18,1941. The following year he was the IPM. He resigned from Lodge Reginald Spence No.5514 EC on December 31,1951.

Rt. W. Bro. Framroz Nadurshaw Shroff was 26 years old when he was initiated in Lodge Reginald Spence No.5514 EC on September 20,1935. He was a sizing master at the Union Mills, Bombay, then Sir David Sasson Mills. He was passed to the degree of fellowcraft freemason on January 17,1936 and raised to the sublime degree of master mason on March 20,1936. Falikaka, as Rt.W.Bro. Framroz Shroff was fondly called, lived at 6, Jenkins House, Apollo Bunder, Colaba and in the later part of his life at Ness Baug, Nana Chowk, Bombay.
Rt.W.Bro. Fali was a member of Lodge Reginald Spence No.5514 EC and continued to remain its member after the Lodge opted for the Indian Constitution. He was also a member of Lodge Barton No.475 SC, Lodge Cyrus No.1359 EC and Lodge Light of Iran No.1498 SC. His first rank was that of I.G. in November 1936. He was appointed J.D. the next year and went through all the ranks till he was installed in the Eastern Chair on November 17,1942. An excellent ritualist, he would readily agree to take any office that was assigned to him, at a moments notice. He was always involved with the administration and well governing of the lodge and proved to be a constant source of inspiration to every new made mason.
Rt.W.Bro. Framroz was also a member of the Order of Royal Arch Masonry and was exalted in Chapter Haig Brown No.3829 EC on November 30,1938. He was also a member of Chapter Hormusji Batliwala No.434 SC. A genial personality, he received from the District Grand Master of the District Grand Lodge of Bombay and Northern India a Certificate of Services to Freemasonry. When Lodge Reginald Spence No.5514 opted for the Indian Constitution Rt.W.Bro. Framroz rose rapidly in the hierarchy and in the year 1967-68 was G.Std.Br; in 1972-73 he received the rank of P.J.G.W. In the year 1974-75 he received the rank of P.A.R.G.M.(WI). At the height of his masonic career he received the rank of P.S.G.W. and P.Dy.R.G.M.
On a number of occasions he was member of the Board of General Purposes. He received the 50 years Long Term Service Jewel from the Grand Lodge of India in 1985.
When the Golden Jubilee of Lodge Reginald Spence No.109 GLI was celebrated, he was the Ruling Master of the lodge, a privilege especially accorded to him. He was in good health all throughout and did not miss any meetings of Lodge Reginald Spence No.5514 or Lodge Barton No.475 SC in Lonavala. He was called to the Grand Lodge Above on November 3,1992. It was the first occasion when a funeral lodge service was held by Lodge Reginald Spence No.109 GLI on December 15,1992 in his memory.
Bro. Chandulal Chhotalal Jalundhwala was born on May 14,1898. He was 37 years old when he embraced freemasonry. He was a landlord and a merchant residing at Ambalal Bhuvan, Tilak Road, Santacruz, (B.B.& C.I), Bombay. Initiated on February 21,1936, passed on April 17,1936 and raised on June 19,1936 he was Almoner of the lodge.
Bro. Muljibhai Ambalal Jalundhwala was born on August 25,1890 and was initiated in Lodge Reginald Spence No.5514 EC on February 21,1936. He was a merchant by profession and resided at Ambalal Bhuvan, Tilak Road, Santacruz, B.B.& C.I Rly. He was passed on April 17,1936 and raised on June 19,1936. He was Organist of the lodge this year; Almoner the following year; Asst. D of C in the year 1938-39 and I.G. in 1939-40. He resigned from the lodge on June 19,1945.
