The FIFTH INSTALLATION MEETING of Lodge Reginald Spence No.5514 EC was held on November 21,1939. The officers for the year were:

W.Bro. Mohamed Ali Kazerani was born on November 11,1891. He was Secretary, Imperial Consulate of Iran. He resided at Jairaz House No.2, Sasoon Dock Cross Road Colaba, Bombay. He was initiated on December 18,1936 and passed to the degree of fellowcraft freemason on February 16,1937. Raised to the sublime degree of master mason on June 17,1937. He was an excellent mason and rose rapidly in freemasonry. In November 1939 he assumed the office of J.D. of the lodge and the next year he was S.D. On November 18,1941 he was appointed Secretary of the lodge and the following year Chaplin. J.W. in the year 1943-44 and S.W. in the year 1944-45. On November 20,1945 he took charge of the lodge and well governed it. The following year he was IPM. He resigned on July 16,1956 and rejoined on February 16,1960. He remained active till he was called to the Grand Lodge Above on February 4, 1973.

W.Bro. Dr. Karsonlal Keshavlal Dalal was born on July 15,1901. He was a consulting surgeon at Shree Pant Bhuvan, Sandhurst Bridge, Sandhurst Road, Bombay. He was initiated on May 18,1937, passed to the degree of fellowcraft freemason on July 20,1937 and raised to the degree of master mason on August 31,1937. He qualified from Grant Medical College and secured the F.R.C.S. diploma from the United Kingdom. His first office in Lodge Reginald Spence No.5514 EC was I.G. on November 21,1939. The other offices he held J.D; SD; Chaplin; Secretary; J.W. and S.W. He was installed in the Eastern Chair on November 19,1946 and was the IPM the following year. He was the D of C of the lodge from November 15,1949 to November 16,1954. He resigned from the lodge on August 13,1955.
