Lodge Reginald Spence is a broad spectrum Freemasons' Lodge with a fusion of strength of youth and the wisdom of the experienced members. It is a unique blend of harmony, wisdom and strength. Our Motto is “Dum Spiro Spero” which is Latin for “While I breathe, I hope”
The Lodge is under the able leadership of its youngest master W Bro Nishant Joshi, who succeeded Worshipful Brother Hasnain Ebrahim who conceptualised and launched this website
Brotherly love, belief, truth, temperance, fortitude, prudence, justice these are far more potent to human development, to human relations, to human life, than are the rules of science. It is simply a question of physical of spiritual values.

Many heritage structures in south Mumbai have connections with Freemasonry. The initiation for the first lodge to admit Indians into Freemasonry took place at the Town Hall, now called as the Asiatic Society.
Frederick William Steven, the architect of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), was initiated into Freemasonry in 1875. Steven was also the architect behind the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation headquarters, Maharashtra Police headquarters in Colaba, Post-Office Mews at Apollo Bunder, the head offices of the BB&CI Railway at Churchgate railway station, the Oriental Life Assurance Offices at Flora Fountain, Mulji Jetha fountain.

R.W.Bro. Sir Reginald Spence, Kt. was the R.W. District Grand Master of Bombay and Northern India at the time the Lodge was proposed. He gave his unqualified consent promptly for the formation of the Lodge and gave his sanction for the lodge to be named after him.
